rent room from friend in her apt (lease, tenant, landlord)

i am renting a room about two monthes now from a friend asked me if i would pay four hundred a month . i need some questions answered and my rights. now tonight she said that her landlord told her that she is gonna up her rent 300 for me and my daughter and boyfriend. 100per person and that she said thats what it says on her lease. which was wierd to me. im not on the lease and i hand her the 400a month what r my rights

If you're not on the lease, the only "rights" you have are those your state law gives you as a month to month tenant and what your friend allows you in her capacity as your landlord. You'll find your state landlord tenant laws linked in the first "sticky" on this forum.
