Just make sure to get CLEAR clarification from them and that all monies paid are documented and accounted for.
I just don't get the point of paying for November now and then skipping paying in November. Just let me pay 1st of month every month without a break. It's just weird.

It is weird. The whole thing is weird. That is why you need to speak with them about this. Tell them that last and sec dep are already paid/covered (if you pay October rent) and why can't you just pay first month's rent in November when it is due.

Only they can answer and justify their reasoning. Just make sure that they are clear on last month's rent and sec dep already being paid.
