If those are worth $10,000 you could get a smart phone for long enough to get them sold. Use your own internet access, not your landlord's internet.
Yep, or library, Starbucks, a friend's Wifi...designate 2 hours a day to do your online bizness elsewhere before you go home.
But...
Cue the excuses...
I recently helped someone purchase a prepaid phone. It was for Verizon, and the smartphone was some type of LG Android phone that was $29. Service is $45 for one month. I was surprised by how good the phone was for the price....it was a lot smaller than my smartphone, but it was fast and worked well online. It seems like a $75 investment would be worth it to be able to sell $10,000 worth of stuff. You could use the phone to take pictures and put up your listings.
Since I'm sure there are excuses for why that can't happen, again, why can't you go somewhere and use public Wi-Fi? Playboy is not porn.
Also, does your landlord monitor everything you do online? Doesn't seem like you would talk so much trash about him if that were true.
And I do firmly believe that true go-getters aren't generally left in situations like yours, so I see laziness as an issue. I dropped out of high school and got my GED, but I already had a job that paid $10 an hour, even though minimum wage was only $5.15 at the time. My income only went up after that, and I now have a very successful freelancing career. In the meantime, I went back to school and got a Bachelor's degree, but I mostly did it for personal satisfaction and to prove myself to my mother, who was always heartbroken that I dropped out of school. I also feel more comfortable knowing that my degree could help me in the event that my freelancing career crashed, but I have done well for myself without it, and I'm much younger than you are. "Trying" doesn't necessarily make you wealthy, but I do think that lack of trying makes you poor.
it's 2016. you have options on where/when/how to get on the internet and sell. hell, you have a bajillion posts here so you figured something out....
cue the excuses...AGAIN.
??? Yes, I've checked out a few places to get on the internet and their TOS prohibit use of the sort I need to sell most of my stuff. Are you suggesting I violate their TOS?

Clark Howard just talked about deals and people using smartphones for their internet access, and tethering their phones to other devices incl laptops. So this is definitely an option I'm considering.
Now I feel like Clinton...depends on what the meaning of porn is. Many people would consider it inappropriate to sell using public wifi.

If I can use the wifi to post ebay listings with topless pictures, sure. But I don't know of anyplace where that's allowed.
