I always try to respect the fact that I may own the property or manage it but it is somebody's home...

Common courtesy goes a long way but it is a two-way street.

I have zero tolerance being lied to... if a person is going to be late for whatever reason they had better be upfront and let me know and not when I come knocking on the door.

Reading the posts in this topic as well as most topics on this forum made me realize how awful people who deal with renters are.

And yet the customer is King in America... if the product you have to offer is lacking or substandard you only hurt your chance of success.

If I do not receive the service I expect from any private for profit I vote with my dollars... and will spend them elsewhere.

Dealing with government it is not so easy... DMV is a take it or leave for the most part but there are good, bad and mediocre and that's life.

The whole underlying logic in this thread is flawed. Most people are inept in some things and not inept in other things. No one is completely inept, or completely intelligent. The people talking about how "most people are inept" or other stupid comments, need to take a course in logic...or basic statistics.

Inept landlords tend to attract inept tenants.

Would like to keep this thread open so can we avoid personal attacks and stay somewhat on topic?
