I have a friend which worked for Merry Maids.....and quit, because of the business practices, ethics and the way they run their business.
She went out, and started her own private business instead.
She did confirm all what was addressed in previous posts, and that was the reason for her leaving.

*always check out if they are bonded/ insured
*always check out their license, and any complaints filed against them
*always ask for recommendations and referrals

It is vital to be very critical careful and choosy, given the fact, that this person (s) will have access into your home.
