so my question is how do you know her bf was a sex offender?.. its usually only public record if they are a level 3 or higher .. Having one in the building is NEVER good business for any landlord.

your Landlord sounds like a poop stirrer with a big spoon

My guess would be that the offender registered at that address...and OP checked the map online, and he showed up.

LL was likely never told BF would be moving in.
