I'd move, and choose a top floor. There's no way that I can tolerate noise over my head; been there and done that.

I'd choose a place that was an adult building, no kids. We had a kid next door to us once, and the ruckus she made! She thundered around and squalled all the time - unbelievable that a two year old could make so much noise.

We lived in a cheap rental for years after we moved from that building, and saved enough money to buy our house...best thing we ever did!

Looks like the cops spooked them as they have been quiet since calling the cops thankfully. I guess the cops caught them in the act of whatever it was they were doing.

HOA says they can't do anything unless they see a copy of the police report......

Here's an update. Well, it's been a few weeks since this post and they appeared to have either been spooked by the cop or moved out. Since we saw someone moving and fighting with their boyfriend outside, we're assuming that perhaps one of them was responsible for the noise as it's been mostly quiet ever since.

Will keep this topic updated, but it looks like we've won for now.
