did you have something in writing in the first place saying they would remove the items, all verbal?? its your word against theres...you should ve had things removed before you moved in....
if a tenant threatened me like that, with litigation, ect... i have the right to give them 30 day notice to move for any reason i deem prudent, and they sign a lease that says just that. if they should want to fight that, it also says in my lease, they are paying all legal costs....thats exactly what id do.....evict them. you get more with sugar than vinigar.
now on the other hand , you could suggest selling the items for them, and givng them the money , or putting it back into the rental , lights, faucets, doors, ect.... and give them recipts for tax write offs.... signed a landlord put the matress and pool table on side and put flush to wall...... hello............

attic for the chairs and bikes, table if small enough. or hang off ceilings.Like you said.
have you used the pool table?? if you are renting with your wife , 2 kids and 2 friends?????????? you must be younger...... the land lord was very gracious to rent to that number of people.im not sure how big house is, or what rent is???? i avoid situations like this because of partiers... two couples together. young...... not a normal family situation. i would say most landlords would not rent to this situation....... none i know.

I let her only pay 100 , yep 100 and i pay the heat and water ont his place, this place is imaculant, cute, they trashed it in 3 weeks. started calling her day , rent was due. no responses, she calls me back, ohhhhhhhhhh im sorry i had to ********* over. shes tied me up now for over a month, and its winter, do you know how hard it is to rent in winter?? so ive called her twice and told her to get stuff out , she said she would by mon eve, well its tues and its still in house. found a crack pipe today ,,,,,,,, im just so disgusted, i usually dont le t them get to me, and take it as they come......... but i hate a liar, said her husband d died....... she knew my familiy.....blah blah.
i told her , this is 2nd day, that im changing locks in morn. an d she could kiss her belongings good bye......she has no proof , she had permission to be there even........ but my keys, and door opener.......... i always go way out of my way to help folks....... but this one stuck a nerve for me

I realize you're a new member, but the last post in this thread was in June 2008 - nearly three years ago! Also, spelling, punctuation, and paragraphs make posts ever so much more readable.
