Hi so im 21 and going away to school and the school im goin to has no campus housing left. A girl that I planned on getting an apartment together with a year ago I pretty much stopped talking to because I caught her in a few lies and was really sick of being lied to.
I get along with her better then anyone besides the few problems we had. We are very similar and i think shed be very easy to live with since our personalities are practically the same. We both will be goin to teh same school a nd living in the same area...should I get a place with her?
There is no one else I know looking for a place and I need a room mate since I dont wanna commute!
Help what should I do? give her another chance? She was goin through a hard time at the time with drugs and is fine now...waht should I do?

a room is a great idea... don't room with that girl- you'll regret it (coming from someone who has had waaaaaaaaaayyyyy too many bad roommates and a few good ones). Depending on what city you move to,you may find that there are plenty of houses near by that are set up for people to have their own room (one house, two bathrooms, a gazillion bedrooms) and you can often find housing with other students (even offcampus) through a neighborhood newspaper, the college newspaper, or the school itself. Also...these tend to be cheaper than an apartment becuase utilities are included in the rent cost (usually). One of the best parts about going somewhere is that you get to meet new people: enjoy the experience, but also follow your good judgement in deciding where to live and with whom- and that girl should be taken off your "potential roomie" list. Good luck!
