Default Need out of my lease - advice

We rented an apartment starting on June 21. When we walked in the place was infested with roaches. We saw over 30 in the first hour we were in the apartment. For the last two weeks we have not been able to stay in the new apartment. My husband was renting an apartment previously from them and they have allowed us to stay in it. We have to be out of the old apartment on the 8th. After being gone the last week on vacation we returned to the new apartment and it is still infested. We have asked for another apartment but there are none available. They have been treating the apartment for roaches it's just a long slow process. What rights do we have to get out of our lease? Do we have any right in asking them to cover moving expenses?? We are living in a new town and would have to hire movers to help us move our stuff out. They have been great so far but with us having to be out of the other apartment in 2 days I don't know what to do. Any suggestions??

You might as well let them finish treating the roaches, because if you were to move, you will be taking all of the bugs with you, in your furniture, etc.... Not a pleasant thought
