I found a great house to sublet and want to take it but the landlord is out of town and I would be expected to submit a damage deposit in excess of the monthly rent.
What should I know about this? Is this a bad idea? I want to try to buy, perhaps, and am hoping this will turn into a month to month after february when the lease is up.
