Hi I wanted to know if my mom can split her section8 housing with her daughter yes she on the lease she has two kids and she on unemployment my mom wants her to be on Her own any question please.

my daughters father is on section8 and she is on his voucher. I'm getting section could I also put her on my voucher she is with me half the time and with him half the time. Two separate homes.

The only times I personally know is when the primary died or became incapacitated...

About 3 years ago one of my tenants inherited a house when her mother passed away... it was a nice, well kept home and she had asked housing if her daughter could have her Section 8 since the Mom no longer qualified... I'm sure you know the answer.

Section 8 was never intended to be a generational way of life.

Im married but me and my wife are separated we have a ACS case and im trying to get my kids back home to me but shes is not fighting to get the kids back but me but she has the section 8 still but removed me from the lease because of a Police report that was made is there any chance that i can take the section 8 from her because she doesnt want the kids with her anymore. im in a family homeless shelter getting my kids home so please tell there is a way to getting that section 8 from her?

The way it works here is you would have to appeal or make your case to the Housing Manager...

No one here can give you a yes or no...

Now, if you wife was to surrender her certificate voluntarily because she no longer has custody to you, the new custodial parent... it should be possible.

The easiest way is for you to be on the lease, occupy the current unit and for your wife to move...

This would be a relatively simply admin change here and all you would need to do is provide family income so your share of the monthly rent can be calculated.
