Would you say anything? I'm sure they'd be deeply embarassed if they knew they could be heard so clearly, but I know I'm equally embarassed to mention it.

Not sure there is a solution to this one, any thoughts?
yes, this one it easy really. Buy a nice greeting card and mail it to them with the note informing them that their lovemaking can be heard via the AC duct work. They then can muffle the duct on their side whenever they feel amorous. As adults they may be a bit embarrassed but glad you let them know so they can protect their privacy as well as yours.

Many many people never think about how well sound travels in ductwork.

It's not coming through "ductwork" - it's a small slide in the window A/C and apparently the side"screens" are pretty thin and no barrier to "noise"

I'm not out there that often so no biggie - I only posted it as I thought some may not be aware this can happen.

I was more amused than "shocked" lol

Oh please, just say nothing and mind your business. We all "do it' so whats the big problem.

I remember sitting in my kitchen on a Saturday afternoon study ing at the table, and then heard "noises" of the people next door, their bedroom windows are alongside my kitchen windows. I'm sure I don't need to say anymore, anyway, I just took my book and went into the living room, no big deal....................but i do admit, they obviously were having more fun than me !!!

Moral of story, in mutiple dwelling units, these things happen, you either deal with it, or buy a house in the hills.... LOL...........

I live on the 3rd floor and there are four kids under me who run back and forth and it is so damn annoying. The floor and walls shake. I hate that!
