This 6' 4" dude does not need help in the 'male' department--------hence my being secure enough to drive something along the lines of a 1965 Rambler Classic 4 door sedan.

Then again: I hate 'bling'------with the notable exception of a Saturday Night cruiser.........then, I would go 'stooopid'

Actually, no. While I was the last of 10 & really grew up as an only child, I am told that there just was never money for all to go at once. So, the older kids were left to watch some of the others & only a few got to go anywhere.

And, the point really wasn't anything to do with my ridiculous large family - but that we, in this society, call many things "needs" that simply are NOT. They have families in Europe too. Of varied sizes. They just don't drive these mongo vehicles. Besides, let's just be realistic. Look at all these gynormous vehicles we see on the roads - pay attention next time. How many are filled from front to back with family, friends, whomever?

Precisely! Simply ostentatious displays of buying power & perceived wealth. (by & large)

my 50 cents on the matter
