I think Mallet builds these cars. They also do the Saturn Sky, which I think looks a lot better. Has anyone ever sat in one of these cars? They are horrible on room. I am only 6,3 215lbs and I cant see driving it for more than an hour!

Well...I'm 6'2" and have ridden in a Solstice and a Sky. I didn't really find it so horrible.
Did you see that option in there for a 1000 HP Turbocharger upgrade? LOL...that would make that little car into a rocket.
It would take some serious feathering of the throttle & a good couple miles to get it to hook up... LMAO! I'd have to imagine it would be a blast to drive though!
that's the rub on that monster-- if you somehow get enough traction to launch, something will snap. It's physics, unless that entire drivetrain is bulletproof; plus the entire underneath of the car has been strengthened structurally; some wheel spin would actually save the components.
I can see it now: this car sponsored by Goodyear.....
Too much for that little car, its rather a big pile of overkill if you think about it. Id love to see 350hp out of the 4 cyl, would make more usable power and keep the weight balance in tact a bit more.
my daughter's bf, who is in process of putting a turbo on his s2000 ( 4-450 hp when done ) sent the link below showing a Honda s2k with 6-700 hp. May give some idea on what these v8 Solstices would be capable of. I'd sure like a few minutes behind the wheel.... who cares about "driveablility" when you have that much power!!!
