as most of you know marilyn and i both love photography and eventually want to have a little photography business when we retire doing website and real estate photography.
a new website that caters to the pocono area where we have a home and intend to retire to featured us on their new website. you can click on each photo and they enlarge.
thanks.... we love it, we plan each and every weekend around going some place to shoot so it certainly gives us things to do every day..
we hope to put together an eventual book which will be for sale with some of our work we have done in the pocono area as well as nyc..
now we maintain a website and sell our photos on line but we really dont promote things much at this point ,its more for own enjoyment although we have provided photos for quite a few business websites .
we usually give them free copies and free use for advertising in exchange for the rights to do whatever we like thats legal with their photos. it works out well for both of us.
Best of luck with your venture and adventures. My wife and I are also heavy into photography. So much so that when the house is sold, we will take off full time in a camper and do photography. I am thinking of doing professional tours, but I first need to enjoy my upcoming retirement and also will gain more experience teaching free classes. In addition to online sales, there is also the fine art/gallery approach. I will have to see where my interests take me. I also believe it is becoming a crowded field. There are millions of us with advanced hobbist or professional level skills.
