Knowing what I know now: I'd move to a progressive city such as Austin, work in the best strip club, get some sugar daddies, make LOTS of tax free money, move the money off-shore, keep making money until I couldn't make anymore, then retire and not worry about my old age pensions.
Its said that by 35 people can look around and see where their place in society is going to be in the future in 95% or better of cases. I personally agree especailly with careers; as so much is deternined by decisions made much earlier in life. That doesn't mean that at some point some don't make changes which can result in worse outcomes often and in some cases better outcomes. That is why IMO;its best to concentrate on decions you make now really insated of living in daydreams of what if in the past.
I have to admit that I look at people who are 30 years old as being so lucky. They still look good, they are just getting into the best years of their life and they are starting to make good money in their careers.
If you could snap your finger and be 30 years old all over again, would you? Or would you rather be your current age and retired?
Age is just a number. You can buy your looks with money.
Of course, the key to your proposition is not simply 'being 30 again,' but, 'being 30 and already knowing what you have learned since then!' -- Without that, chances are pretty good that one might make the same mistakes (or worse) over again.
As it stands, I've got a pretty good life and wouldn't want to risk the relationships and joys I know now with a 'do-over'
Nope ... DH & I retired early and it's wonderful! We rasied and educated 3 children. All 3 out and about on their own. We both had high stress/pressure jobs and made good money. Paid off our home, our cars, all our credit cards and now we have no bills except living. We can go when and where we please. We don't answer to an alarm clock every morning of our life. Our biggest decision each days is ... what are we going to have for dinner. We love it!
