My husband has been out of the classroom 10 years and I have for almost that long. Go get up the first day and get a cup of coffee and watch the buses go by the house... you will enjoy it! Then, relax all day

I never shop on weekends anymore. I did for a while when I first retired (2 years ago next month) and then asked myself why I was standing in the long checkout lanes. Just habit I suppose. Now like you, I'm home relaxing on the weekends and letting the working folks have at it! There is virtually noone shopping hardly on weekdays, not until late afternoon anyway. Gotta love it.
