I am wondering if there are any USPS retirees (or active employees) out there who can give me any info on the proposed changes to USPS retirement and health insurance benefits, specifically if current retirees will be "brought back into the USPS fold" for health insurance or if we will continue with our FEHB coverage. I have heard both scenarios - wondering what is closer to the truth. TIA.

I am not a retiree but the senate just had testimony on the problems USPS is facing. The shortfaqll will come if they make the retiree payment due next summer. But I doubt that will be addresssed first but cuts coming to keep it from being a bigger problem .This is about the third hearings in recent years about PSPS problems. If you do a serch you can find the senate hearings I am sure as they were on televison a fewe days ago on CSPAN.
