Cattknap, I don't see a Status for you unless I check your profile. Don't see one for Biscuitmom either. I do see one for Escort Rider. Hmmmm...

I recently downloaded this app to my iPad, and I'm really enjoying the articles. I need to learn more about it, though. Have not yet created an account or any "magazines".

If you don't update it regularly, they "disappear" from the sight of other posters. You can still still your own but nobody else can see it.

Whoa! That's amazing. I didn't know that either. So being that you still see your own, you would have no idea that others can't see it, unless you know about it "timing out". What we learn every day!

My "Fan of the Los Angeles Master Chorale" could have been missing in action for a year or two!

I've never updated mine but I figured it still showed because I still occassionally get a comment about it...on the other hand, with the way the memory is lately, maybe the last one was 8years ago

I read other peoples .Depending on 'you', it can be taken either of two ways...as anti-people or simply pro-dog.

I believe the only way to keep the "Status" visible is not using the "Status" option at all. Instead, if you replace the "Senior Member" with whatever you wish to say (same you would in your status), it will stay visible to everyone for however long you wish it to be. That's how Old_Cold's quote stays visible and so does mine. Caladium's new quote will stay permanently too, until she changes it.

There's not really an appreciative pun response icon (guess is the closest).

As to the serious, scientific answer to the question, apparently destruction of posterior language areas and ataxic movements* may make it difficult to rock and roll. So we may have to settle for Monster Mash.

(Zombies weren't really on my radar, but Anifani's post made me curious, and a search turned this up, along with some other interesting stuff.)

Congrats on the house, by the way--hope you'll be very happy there! (Zombie-proof it, and listen to whatever you want.)

By the way, on the status feature, anyone editing a post for the first time, be careful! I somehow typed what I thought was "reason for editing" (a particular post) and it became my status line instead! Managed to erase it from there, but it is apparently enshrined forever (or until I learn all the tools, whichever comes first) in my profile as a former status statement. Makes no sense at all, unfortunately, not even in a cool Zen kind of way.

For that, on the iPad I preferred Zite. Unfortunately, Zite for Android isn't as good as Zite for iOS.
