Funny, but my friend, who is my age, refuses to go to Target, because when he returned something once they wanted to scan his drivers license into their system. Way over stepping, I think.

Back to chatting......

Looking forward to a visit from an old friend we haven't seen for about 10 years, this weekend. She used to be married to my husband's best friend from high school.

PLEASE DO! I love cold and snow. Right now I'm getting a dust storm and 58mph sustained winds. It's cooled off to 96 degrees outside. I hate this place!

I realize this is probably a stupid question. Have you considered moving?

Tomato juice, has anyone heard of bathing your pet if it's sprayed by a skunk ?

Two hours, on way to the airport; have thought of moving, just do not know where; so enjoyed when I visited N.C., paternal roots, though most folks think I am crazier than usual when I mention it ! LOL Have Post on the Thread about singles moving. Currently, just counting blessings and stayin' put !

Note, live on the Olympic Peninsula, 9 months of the year, GREY, not too much rain. ? Most places has assets and liabilities, yes?

sera: Yes I have heard people recommend a tomato juice bath for a dog who has been sprayed by a skunk. I have no idea if that works.

There seem to be quite a few "recipes" for that problem. Maybe you could Google it and see what comes up.

Good luck!

Dawn, the blue original, cuts grease and skunk spray is an oil. It worked well but it needs to done more than once. I used tomato juice once and after he shook like a dog in the middle of it all, I had tomato juice on me and the walls. Use it outside only.

Every single day, but thanks to the EX who cleaned out my savings and ran up a ton of debt, I'm lucky to have money for food at the end of the month. If I could afford it, I would move out of this hell hole in a second.

Oh, don't use tomato joose for a skunky dog, won't work. Instead, use Dawn dish soap, hydrogen peroxide and some baking soda. That will neutralize the skunk oil and smell. I know, from experience.
