I wanted to make sure that my little town was what she wanted! But it's nice that Sierra Vista is so close and has a lot of the big box stores. Was glad to introduce my friends from the senior center and show her around

Wow!! Meo, that is really fast!!! You came the southern route and picked out a place that fast? You are a lady who knows what she wants. Of course, with the Internet, you can do a tremendous amount of research online these days. I remember you saying a couple of times that you would like a Kitty. Will you be able to have one in the new place? Will you be continuing on with your tour and seeing the rest of the state, too?

Both sons are. My late son's grandchild starts kindergarten this year. My other son's grandchildren are 9 and 2.

I've been researching for over a year, closer to two. I didn't expect to fall in love with the mountains but they are awesome. And the folks are so friendly.

I was going to check into Tennessee also, but I didn't want to drive 1600 more miles. Once I saw I would 'fit' in Arizona, that was enough for me.

This was your first time ever visit to AZ? What made you feel AZ was a fit for you? I am just wondering what it was. Thanks!!

I felt acceptance from the people. The mountains are awesome & there was an opening in Dee's complex that was handicapped accessible. Everything just fell into place.

Thank you for sharing that. It does sound that way to me, too, Meo. Everything fell into place. I am really glad for you; I know the past few years have been a real struggle.

I didn't respond to your questions well. Sorry.

Yes, if my doctor signs a form that I need a companionship pet, the kitten stays for free. If not, there's a deposit & monthly charge. Either way I'll be able to have a fur baby. I'll get one from the shelter, a cat who needs me as much as I need him or her.

That's good to hear. At the apartment I lived in, the deposit was $100 and it was an extra $25. It was worth it.
