Not sure about others but the Spring and Fall make it all worthwhile. The six days we just spent at the beach is a very worthy trade off for not having power for about 9 hours. Plus storms rolling in over the trees can be part of loving nature. Power outages at night create great snuggle time. Now if I can get back to sleep.

Glad you at least have the trade off .
Upstate NY gave us none a couple of weeks ago when there was no consolation when we were out for 17 hours!

Big thunder boomer storms here yesterday evening, which moved on to other parts of the state (NC) last night. It was one of the rare times the sky turned a shade of green, which to me is "Kansas weather" -- and I was expecting tornadoes along w/ the straight line winds. However, we got through it fine in south Charlotte . . . just some trees down and in our yard -- a lot of limbs and debris.

Hope everyone is alright and no damage to deal with . . . I will be picking up debris this morning and feeling lucky it was no worse than that.

Did you get him? Messy.

We had an onslaught a few weeks ago and now we have these fly paper thingies hanging from the ceilings. They look like a roll of film and the "film" unravels and is sticky. Flies get stuck. hahahahaha.
