I've had 40-60mph winds all night. Got smacked in the face with a tumbleweed and one of my windows actually blew out this morning. Looking to see if there's a cow flying by, or a woman in a rocking chair. Geeze.

Doesn't sound like you'll have these dusty winds much longer! And wow, rent with buying option, it doesn't get better than that! Can't wait to hear more when you move.

Up on the western rim in Las Vegas and the wind was terrible last night! This morning it's calmed down, but turned cold (for here). 2017 never had a below freezing temp, but the weatherman says it may happen this week.

I can't believe I'm complaining about 43 degrees. I must be getting acclimated.

Cool front even has gone through in Phoenix, cloudy, cooler and breezy today down here. Snow in higher AZ locations.

Jim, batten down the hatches and carry-on! Glad the end is in sight for you, home-wise.

AzGarden -- Glad you got to go to the gardening class! I would consider driving into the older part of Prescott, parking the car, and taking a walk around and look at the older, established gardens to see what has lasted. This is something you could do several times a year, to see what is blooming. Lots of ideas in the city parks, too.

AZDesertBrat -- Saying a prayer for you; I hope everything goes smoothly for you today.

I was watching Good Day LA this morning (I get distant networks since I can't receive my locals) and they were whining and telling people to bundle up and stay warm because it was...gasp 62 today in LA. The poor babies, I hope they open warming shelters.

Heck that's tshirt weather here.

Anyone watching the Olympics? I like the coverage on NBCSN this year. Usually I get frustrated by constant interruptions to give long personal background stories instead of showing the actual full competition, and turn it off. But this time, they are showing the whole event with few interruptions. Loved watching the ski events.

I am, love the winter games. I don't have NBCsn so have to watch NBC with those awful announcers who talk constantly. Snowbording is my favorite. Tried it once, happy to still be alive.

We are firmly in the low 80’s for the week. The pool excavator crew are here this afternoon. We had a pool contractor come out six years ago before we bought this house to let us know if we could build a pool later. It’s finally later.
