Jean -- Sorry to hear about the flood troubles near your old home. I saw some of the flooding on the tv -- terrible!
Well....I somehow missed receiving my Publishers Clearinghouse prize notification today, too! Gee whiz!!! Well, I guess it is like buying a lottery ticket and daydreaming....I haven't heard anything about the lady in New Hampshire who won the lottery but wants to remain anonymous -- I think the case was going to go to court. Anyone know what has happened? Maybe the court date hasn't come up yet?
Hollyhock: I believe I read that the NH woman got a court to approve her Trust so she could keep her $$$$$ and not have to be named.
It was 17 degrees here this AM. Had about 2 inches of snow. Am going out periodically to give the birds more seed because they are eating like crazy. Have to find a way to unfreeze the bird bath too. I want Spring !!
Soooooooo... went to see owners of the house I'm moving into because they haven't been answering their phone. I was to sign the lease agreement and hand them over a check so I could start moving in. I'll make this short.
They SOLD the house through a real estate friend who knew a guy in Texas who wants to turn it into a hunting camp. Got a cash offer.
And so it goes....
