If I hadn't asked they would have dropped that on us when we were talking with the sales manager after agreeing on a price with the sales person. And we would have walked out.

When I told them what I expected to pay I never heard back.

Meh. We are going to wait until fall or next spring. No big hurry. We just thought we'd give it a shot because we had some time free up.
Salespeople! Now I'm being asked to reconsider. Sent them a humdinger email letting them know that no more than one person should send me information. Enough with the varying quotes. Told them that the price I saw was too high so I needed one person, and one person only, to give me their best price out the door. No extra monies added by a Sales Manager, no high pressure tactics by a finance person. Either one and we walk.

Should be an interesting response.

Isn't there a time when that ruined credit expires?

Just wondering.

I leave one little word out and I’ll be labeled old or potty again. Seriously, I need to proofread better before I hit send.
I thought I’d feed the grandkids dinner before our son picked them up after work and took our granddaughter to scouts. Here’s the text with my son:

High of 84 today. Severe storms, possibly isolated strong tornados, tomorrow.

Already? Seems kinda early. What feels strange to me is that our expected high is 74, but Cochise County will always be cooler because of the altitude.

Stay safe!

I'm looking forward to my trip to Vegas next month because if I wake up at 3:28am and can't sleep (assuming I've even gone to bed by then, lol), I can just take the elevator downstairs and play some more poker!

What is it about that 3-3:30 AM waking up time?? I go through this every once in a while, and have been for the past five nights! Older people I talk to say the same thing about the time they wake up. If I lay there long enough I can usually doze off again but then wake up an hour later. And then there's the rooster next door that starts in around 4:30. I feel 'lucky' if I make it to 5:00. Work days I don't mind but geez, days off?? Pleeeeze!

I'm thinking hard about a road trip down there! I have three days off this week but have way to much to get done around here to go. Next week I can though. It's been way too long since I've been able to go and I'm antsy!! lol I have requested three days off every week for the next 11 weeks but corporate has chosen to ignore it, except for these two weeks, so will have to go put in for it again. I really need the time off. Also, I have about 80 hours of PTO so am thinking about a road trip to South Dakota to see my sister's kids and families. Thinking, thinking, thinking....
