We didn’t realize how much sleep we weren't getting until after our 20 year old Siamese was gone. The last couple of years she started loudly announcing when she was jumping up on our bed and jumping down from the bed. It was several times a night and becoming more often than that on some nights. It’s been good to catch up on our sleep these past couple of months.

And the Lexus 300h, which considerably more expensive. That will require reversing our purchase plan, which was to buy a less expensive car this time, and a more expensive one in a couple of years.

Biding our time.

I hate buying cars! Did I say that already?
I also hate buying cars and stopped negotiating years ago. It's a "Take it or Leave it" deal. Love my Chevy Volt.

Beautiful day here in the neighborhood this morning. Sunny and 75 degrees with a gentle breeze; great time to have the windows open. Hoping that the landscaper comes today and mows the lawn and finishes up the flower bed he started a couple of weeks ago.

Cloudy here with predicted rain. Plenty of thunder going on out there! No wind, which is nice since it's been really windy here lately. May is our month for excessive wind and we had a lot in April too.

Thunderstorms and heavy rain off and on yesterday afternoon. Light rain on and off after that, overnight, and still this morning. Las Vegas. Plants are loving it.

It's really windy here! My cat is mad at me because she wants to go out but it's too windy for her. Poor thing.

I would love to hear thunder. Hope it gets here at some point. I am one of those people who loves a good thunder & lightening storm. It's the only thing I miss about Minnesota.

I wonder what's up with all this wind! It does get windy here but seems like we've had a lot of it this year.

Just wait till July and August! You'll get all the thunder and lightening your heart desires. lol Not to mention a LOT of rain. At least you don't have to worry about getting out in it and it's nice to watch from inside a cozy home. It is raining here but nothing very heavy. Had to go out in it a while ago and have to go out again in an hour. I don't suppose I'll melt.

Where did I just watch that? I thought it was great!

That movie was "Network". Peter Finch starred in it. Long long time ago.

I woke up at 3:30 am, went outside to yell but it was 34 degrees, so I went back in crawled under the covers and went back to sleep. I'll try to yell out my outrage later.
