NYgal -- Sorry to hear you did not get great news from the Dr. It is always something. Hopefully the follow-up appointments can get you back up to paar. I have back-to-back Dr appointments this afternoon myself and am expecting things not to go too well either. I have not been quite up to paar myself.

But maybe things will turn around quicker than you anticipate, NYgal. You have a wonderful plan and I hope things will work out well for you. Take care, my friend!

Such is life, right?

Wait what? I think they have doctors in Virginia, see if you can get a referral and go. Feel better soon.

HollyhockGarden and jim9251: Don't want to gross anyone out with my medical details.

But there is no cure, only treatment. Can turn into melanoma. When it's present, it is very painful.

I want to get a grip on what the heck it is, how I have to take care of myself, etc. I agree, jim, there are definitely doctors in VA. But what I've got is new to me and I'm a little scared. Want to stick with the docs I know and trust for now.

I really appreciate the support from you both. It was really needed today.

I get up at 4 or 4:30 at least one day a week to brew coffee to send with DH on his way to the airport. He likes his coffee and it’s not like I can sleep while he’s showering and getting dressed. I don’t drink coffee until the afternoon and on those days, I need it.

The kids got in very late last night with delayed flights, and I’m now off of pet duty, yay!

.

I won't go to the store for just coffee, that takes an hour to drive there get what I need and back. I'll wait until I need other groceries.

I drank UGH tea.

Coffee!! My nectar of life.

If I will go out late at night to get cat food because I forgot to get it earlier, I'm pretty sure I'd go out to get coffee!!

Hope things are back to normal for you.

What.... no Star Bucks or Dunkin' Donuts down the street?? (kidding)

Down the street from me are about 1000 cows. Nearest Starbucks is a 20-30 minutes drive to get there. I am literally in the middle of no where.
