I am so envious. I just looked at the radar and the nearest rain is a long way away; Eastern West Virginia and Central Georgia. Still hoping for a pop-up shower this afternoon, but it looks like I will be watering later on today.

Don't be. It probably won't rain here again until August.

I've been pleasantly surprised that, in this part of AZ, even during the heat there is usually a nice breeze. There's only been a few days where I didn't want to go out during the heat of the day.

It's also cool in the mornings and evenings. And little to no humidity.

I always wondered what they meant by dry heat. Now I know.

Just had the mailman pound on my door so loud I thought there was a gorilla out there. I yelled at him for doing that, scared the heck out of me.

He was delivering a letter I had to sign for from one of my doctors.

It was a letter advising me to make sure I find another specialist when I move and then went on warning me about all the "dangerous" things I have and need to maintain a close watch on.

I'm angry and I'm insulted. I'm not a kid and I know enough to maintain my health with doctor's visits.

Over-reacting? Or not?

I'll go with over-reacting. He's covering his *ss as well as the fact that while you're eminently sensible, all of his patients are not.

In other news, here in hospital I've had a couple nights of rain. DH in the trailer said he has had a couple of nights of minor leaks. Time to get the trailer roof re-done.
