AZBrat: You are not missing anything here. It is raining so much that the ground is soaked and the water is beginning to smell like ??? Can't even walk the dog and he is pissed. Plus I have ants all over the house. I got several ant catcher things to see if it helps. Today is my second CT scan with iodine to see what going on in my belly. Fun fun fun...

Thanks. It's an hour away. 68 degrees at 10,200 feet elevation. It's 104 at home now.

Jim -- Did you catch any fish? Even if you didn't, the temps and scenery are worth the trip.

AZgarden -- I am hoping you hear good news with your health. I am seeing the rains in PV live on tv -- you guys are getting drenched!!! It is sunny and dry here -- I wish we would get some!

carvree -- I have had password troubles too, on occasion. I hope everything gets fixed.

Jean -- I'm glad to hear you have figured out your pool stuff!

It is a quiet, sunny, and dry day here in AZ [where we are] but raining 2 inches/hr elsewhere in the state. This state has a huge variation in climates.

.

I caught 10, kept my limit of 4. All rainbow trout. Grilled 2 for supper tonight, 2 are in the freezer. My doggie loved playing in the water, which was around 58 degrees I would guess. After he decided we would be there a while, he layed down in a shallow part and fell asleep propping his head on a rock so he wouldn't drown. Oh and the trout, I ate one, he ate one.

I have never posted on the Chat Thread, but I just needed to vent a little without starting another thread! I am just so ticked off at a close relative with three young children because I just sent her son a box with a book, a toy, and three new outfits for his birthday, and not only did she not thank me for the gift, but she complained because the clothes were too big. Whatever happened to just saying Thank You even if a gift was not "perfect"? Plus, of course, she could just hold onto the clothes until they did fit her son. Even though I am sure that many people would say she was "just being honest", I think that manners also matter!

Okay, vent over.

katharsis: I agree with you. I am sad so many people do not think saying thank you is important. I can see saying the clothes would need growing into time, but thank you for them and the rest was certainly in order.

I'm still waiting for a Thank You for a check for $100 that I sent a great-nephew for graduation. I guess since it has been three years now, I probably shouldn't plan on getting one.

OK, now I am really p.o.'d

Moderator.... this is a note left in my rep space regarding my post about revealing how much we all get in SS check.

"tasteless??? Really?? 9046 views and probably the hottest thread here. Let's not spoil it for others and try to be polite plz. Have a great day "

Please do whatever you have to do as I find this rather offensive.

Thank you.
