Thought we were going to get rain here in San Diego, but now they are saying only a 20% chance. It would be nice to have a bit of rain as it has been so long for us.

Rain all night cloudy and cool morning, got nearly a quarter inch of additional rain. The second largest wildfire in Colorado history behind me is 95% contained and the other wildfires in the state are getting contained. Been a miserable long hot dry summer.

SNOW forecast for early next week! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

There have been some tornadoes going through NY state, mostly in southern part of the state. I need to pay better attention to the news...... I never fully listen to a story.

Just looked up the weather on my phone and it's crazy. Says 59 degrees, which is correct, but it also says partly cloudy skies and an 80% chance of rain in the next hour. Not a cloud in the sky. We have had rain over the last few days but nothing that could be considered a "storm". I HAVE seen reports that our rivers were up and there was a landslide that closed the road between Sedona and Flagstaff. But it wasn't bad at all right here in the Valley. Had lots worse last month.

Was outside last night staring at the stars, crystal clear night. Went to be at 10 my dog laying by the patio screen door. Nice fresh air. At 3am a loud BOOM woke me, dog came charging in jumped on the bed shaking. Thunderstorm pouring rain hail. Well ok then.
