I get updates from my Minnesota friends. Some, most, places the expected wind chill temps are in the -50's. There have been a few reported deaths from the cold already. I'm glad I moved but fear for family and friends, especially those that still work and have to go out in that.

Fantastic news! I'm so happy for you. You'll soon be able to get back to the life you had before all this started. You may gain a new perspective on life . . . life-changing events like what you've been through can do that to you. I know I view life through a different lens since BCa 19 years ago. I really appreciate the small things much more now and find it easier to let life's annoyances just flow off of me. Enjoy your day!

Well, I'll still be around for a month or two. I still have radiation, etc. to get through.

Good luck, Piney Creek. Don't set too high of expectations for yourself right now. Take this time to rest and let the body and radiation do its work.

I firmly believe a good attitude is your best warrior in the healing battle.

There's your unsolicited advice for the day.

Mayvenne, I certainly don't miss the snow and cold! I feel sorry for my friends back home who are freezing right now. I'm keeping a low profile and not contacting them. They do NOT need to hear that it's chilly in the mornings here. So, so grateful I moved.
