Only 3" of snow at my house, phooey. I sure miss the mountains and real snowfall. This will melt and turn to mud in a day or two.

I didn't measure it but it looks like at least a foot so far. It starts and stops. Already cleared a path for the dog to go pee, twice. It is SO PRETTY though. And it's not that cold out either. Will have to go start on the driveway before it gets out of hand. Wish I had bought an AWD.

I’ll trade ya. Last night alone got 5” and it is still snowing, not expected to be done until late Friday.

I have now shoveled for a total of 18.5 hrs so far in the last 6 days alone. This next round is going to take me at least 4 days, since the most I can take in one day is 6 hrs of it. I am getting a bit too old to take this volume of shoveling, but we aren’t going to buy a skid steer.

I found the house at 57 degrees this morning when it should have reached 62. The pilot light in the propane parlor stove got snuffed. It is a PITA to restart, so I just shut off the gas line to it and turned up the electric heaters instead. Now at a more reasonable 60 degrees. With the propane tank down to 30% since we have had so many storms with little time between them and therefore road impassable for the tank truck, I requested that they fill it next week. That gives me a few days to hire someone to plow the top part of the county road that the county does not maintain.

Pellet stove shut off in the middle of the night. It's my only source of heat.

Sad to hear Peter Tork of the Monkees just died. He was my first crush. The other girls on my street liked Davy Jones, but I liked Peter. RIP and hope heaven is one big concert hall where you get to play as much as you wish.

So I locked myself out of my house this morning. My key ring with the house key broke. My wife was subbing and everyone with a spare key was working.
