OMG....... big storm heading our way (northeast). From the map that is posted we could get 3 to 6 inches.

Is this really spring?

Sure it is! When we moved to NY in 1984, it was St. Patrick’s Day and the next week we got 8+” of snow. It melted within a couple of days. That’s the nice part of getting snow in spring there, it doesn’t last. Hang in there!

True, as the days get longer there's more sunshine to help with the melt.

We used to put grass seed and fertilizer down right before spring snows. A few inches of snows will mean it gets "watered in" and the snow will keep the critters from eating the seed.

It’s spring break here and we took the grandkids to see How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, we liked it and I cried. The previews before the movie were fun too. Toy Story 4 is coming, along with a non-animated, although computer enhanced remake of Dumbo. Then there is Yesterday, about a struggling musician who wakes up after a world-wide blackout only to find no one has heard of the Beatles. It’s an interesting idea.

I dreamed last night I was sitting on a park bench with my high school girlfriend eating a cheeseburger and fries in one of those red plastic baskets and drinking a chocolate shake. Woke up at 3am, because everyone wakes up at 3am, and was really hungry. Decided to make a chocolate shake. Then decided I needed fries with it, so cooked some French fries. Yeah I grilled a cheese burger too. That was sure good. My dog was seriously confused.

Hadn't thought about my hs gf for years. Sure was a kind sweet girl.

Wish I could. She was killed by a drunk driver coming back from getting her hair done before our prom date.

Oh wow. I am sorry that happened to you. Such a tragedy at such a wonderful time in life. I bet that driver was caught and jailed for many years. Hope so anyway.
