Has anyone watched, Rolling Thunder Review on Netflix?
Background: I’m about Bob Dylan’s age (younger), but I got married in 1966 and paid little attention to the social stuff after that, including Vietnam Nam or the drug revolution.
I have thought that I might have missed out on my generation, but now, I’m thanking God, or the fates, that I didn’t participate in the free love/drug stuff..
Bob Dylan is just a drugged up fake, not an icon. Yet, when i hear Tambourine Man, it takes me back.

Um, I don't think you get a Nobel prize for literature by being a drugged up fake.

But I agree, I'm glad I didn't go wild in my youth.

My last vanilla bean orchid bloomed on Friday, no more using a ladder to hand pollinate the flower in the morning. This has been going on since the first orchid opened on April 26. I miss the daily flower, but not getting out the ladder. Now to let the dozen beans ripen and cure, that will be many months yet. With a lot of luck we might end up with a vanilla bean. Itís been fun, I never expected it to grow up the tree or flower.

I'm up late. Just reading. And I looked up and realized, I really like this apartment. So, so much better than my last one. It's good to be content.

meo, I know what you mean. It took me a while to feel content, but it's really sunk in for me how happy I am to live where I am. Yeah, there are some things I wish I could change but I believe moving to another destination would not be perfect.

I am so glad for you. You made the right choice!
