Hey, Jiminy Cricket, are you going to tell us about moving?

And wow at those low temperatures. Tomatoes won't like that at all.

Red Flag Fire Warning now it's getting hot dry and windy.

Anyway...got a few DMs pretty nasty mean spirited stuff, I just deleted them. Apparently I am annoying EVERYONE here.

House is a done deal, will be in August 1st. In a small town an hourish north of me at about 7500 feet, in town, quiet shady street. I can actually walk to cafe's, get a pizza delivered, and have real people to talk to. Trees, green grass, fireplace, patio. Looks like one of those forest ranger homes. I lucked out, kind stumbled on it. Qualified for a low interest loan. Payments lower than the rent I'm paying now.

WHEW!

Jim, so glad to hear this news! Sounds perfect for you. The month of July will probably fly by as you get ready to move. Start getting your boxes now. I am happy for you

You're not annoying me! I've been hoping you'd be back soon to update us on your move. Your new place sounds like heaven to me. I'm so excited for you. Congratulations!

jim, that is great news to hear. Very glad for you.
How about your dog? Is he happy to?
If you are annoying anyone and they send a DM to tell you, think of them as pita's.

Maybe annoying once in a while, but not even close to worthy of a mean DM. Sheesh.

Good luck with your move!

And I got it below market value appraisal whatever you call it so there's already equity. Now I can buy that mail order bride from Russia!

LOL! But before you open that enticing mail order catalog, first binge watch all of "Orange is the New Black" on Netflix. It may cause you to rethink the Russian bride thing.

Congratulations on finding a new home at long last! Don't forget to send everyone an invitation to your house warming party and alert the mods if you get anymore mean spirited DM's. I think some people are under the delusion that no one will know where their nastygram came from, but they are wrong. The mods know all and see all and can slap wrong doers across their knuckles with a ruler.

Meanwhile, back on the actual ranch, the farmers out here have already had a bumper crop of hay and alfalfa and the bales from the summer's first cutting are sitting in the hay barns. Maybe that awful drought we had been enduring is finally over! One can always hope for the best, right?

I love to go out and sit on all those freshly cut bales of hay and breathe in that newly mown grass scent. Summer is one of the best seasons where I live - everywhere that is irrigated is a deep shade of green and the drops of water from the irrigation lines sparkle in the sun against a backdrop of mesas and mountains. On days like this, I forget to worry about my usual bucket list of woes. Worry? Today, I'd rather go soak up the sun!
