Apparently not. There is a 'new' vaccine that is more effective than the 'old' one so I'll look into that. I remember talking about it with my doctor but didn't get it for some reason. These shingles suck so I'll get the shot once I get over it. I didn't realize that I'm contagious for chickenpox with active shingles sores (Not if they are covered.) They gave me an anti-viral pill that seems like it is helping a bit.

Ice Cream cake for all ! Congratulations Jim !

Xenah, are cornets played anymore, most trumpets ? Daddy played cornet years ago, played in bands in the 1930's, while in the Army Air Corp; played gigs in San Francisco/Bay Area. He had a gift, remember him practicing, rearranging music.

Good to Post here again.

Well that was entertaining. HIS real estate agent was an hour late, as me the title guy and my agent sat around. Paperwork signed, everyone shook my hand, except HIS agent who threw the keys down and walked out.

Ah I made a new friend. Anyway, sleeping bag on the floor me and doggie spending the night in new digs. Oh it's 108 at the old rental, 81 in new home, with shade. And a pizza place within walking distance.

Just a vent....... I sure hope that eye surgery in couple of weeks gives me better vision. I hate not being able to read something, can't always identify what is in a picture, colors confused. I hope it's from the retina problem that hopefully will be "fixed" soon. I am VERY thankful I am not blind. But the problems I'm having are pretty irritating at times.

The new Shingrex vaccine has only recently made it's way to the Albuquerque area and is hard to obtain. I saw my doctor in June and she advised me to get on the pharmacy waiting list for the new vaccine as it may take a while. Even though I got the old vaccine about two years ago, she advised me to get the Shingrex as it offers more protection. I asked at Walgreens but they do not have a waiting list - you have to call around to their individual stores and not all of them offer it. And you cannot go online to schedule the vaccine the way you can for the Walgreen's flu shot. What a pain!

Jim, I wonder what the Real Estate Agents problem is? He's obviously not looking for new clients.
