We are all bad bad retirees and are being punished for being so vocal - bad~~~bad

I see the "Women Retiring Alone~~~" is still a sticky (maybe I shouldn't have said that). This thread could become quite popular.

Here's a bit of news - the Japanese beetles have arrived in full force Yesterday there were none - today there are 100s.

And, I am really sad about CO and all the fires - that's my future retirement home. Just ca'nt believe what's happening.

Carry on~~you bad bad seniors

LOL yeah I have a lifetime of being the supportive team player type. But even I have my limits! If this is how it's gonna be from now on, sign me up to be a bad bad senior.

Very sad about the fires in Colorado. Odd that you should mention Japanese beetles in the same post--they say a big part of the problem came from a beetle infestation. The insects killed the trees, making the whole area a huge tinder box.

I think the Chat thread is perhaps meant to sink down into oblivion, as we've sorta been using it at times to discuss things we're not supposed to.

How's the beach today? Wish I were there.

Yes, I'm watching the video clips with horror. To all of our Colorado friends, stay safe, leave when they say to, and watch out for the pets!! Hoping and praying the fires will die down.

Hee hee yeah it's kind of handy for that! You're right, let it sink and then bob up to the surface as needed.

I'm in Sarasota, most of the beaches in the area kinda were washed away with the tropical storms, but the sun is back out today, i'm sure things will be back to normal by weekend. My little area sustained little damage or flooding, but you couldn't really didn't want to be outside some areas weren't driveable, some areas, like mine, weren't as bad.

I always thought the chat threads in all the forums were stickies, it was another reason I was suprised to not see it at the top of this forum when I clicked on here this morning. I just wondered if my minds eyes had been playing a trick on me or if someone is pting.
