negirl you might see snow on the tail end of the rain mass.

It's coming down fairly steady here. Small, powdery flakes, it's been snowing since four o'clock but there's barely a half inch on the ground.

Prayers and best wishes for anyone traveling.

'Thank you Lord for another day on planet Earth.' - Phil Robertson

Happy Thanksgiving to all and safe travel. Winds are howling but the sun is out. Ham is in the oven.

Just got back from the restaurant. Cold, brisk weather but no problems. No ice or snow.

At this time of Thanksgiving we pause to count our blessings...
Family, Friends, Dreams come True and Dreams yet to pursue.

For all of these things, we are deeply thankful.
...
May the good things in life
be yours in abundance
not only at Thanksgiving
but throughout the coming year!

ALL our best wishes for a Very Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving

Happy Birthday Gandalara!

My sisters who are twins have theirs on Nov. 26, sometimes it falls on Thanksgiving day. We were born just 11 mos apart, so from now till Jan. 1 we are all the same age — they can't rib me about being older. If we weren't all so different from each other we'd almost be like triplets.

Default Chicpeas or garbanzo beans? Which is it where you live?

I know here in the west one never hears "chickpeas". All my life it has always been garbanzo beans. I have concluded that chickpeas must be an east coast thing. What state do you live in, and which term do you use?
