As I said, ahem, I appreciate all the support around this.

I got my senior entry into a movie this eve. There were only a bunch of geezers in the theater. Felt right at home.

I like the German tradition that the birthday person of a certain age (70 was the big year there) would throw a party for him/herself inviting friends and family to celebrate that he/she had been blessed with one more year of life.

So have a party and invite all your loved ones to celebrate this special year. Pop the cork and enjoy

Life is good.

p.s. 29 was my hard year. We must all have our year. hang in there. you will be fine.

I like that tradition very much. I dread birthdays every year and then when they finally come, they're not so bad at all. Wouldn't it be fun to plan a huge party and find people you hadn't seen in years and just say--Who Cares? Let's all get together and have fun. One big party to celebrate another year.
