Parts of the NE got dumped with snow. It's not the snow so much - that's expected - but this deep freeze is the kicker.

The second method from Umbria's link using c-d is really simple.
Yes, it is simple, but it includes embedded data from your computer hard drive, I am told (by a coder).

That is a good explanation of how to upload from one's hard drive. The problem with that method is - I don't want anything linked through embedded data back to my hard drive and I have been told that is what happens.

I guess I should just open a Photobucket account.
I don't think it links back to your hard drive. The photos that I have included in city-data posts are copied up to the city-data server, and the links go back to the city-data copies. (I'm also a coder.)

And a coder I trust - I have read info you have posted on other server related issues and if you say it is okay, then I am okay with it, lol.

Thank you for taking the time to clear that up! This makes sense that it would be copied to the server.

Seems I screwed up on this upload, lol. Oh well. Thank you to all who helped with the instructions for uploading. :-)

The photo below was taken about 5 pm yesterday.

It is pretty. I imagine in the mountains it is just gorgeous. I always get excited by that first snow - even the second & third. But by this time of year I am so done with it all.

I know a lot of folks who are ready for Spring!

For me, this is what to expect in the Winter in the mountains . . . so it would be odd to be here and not have numerous snowfalls.

My dog just loves the snow and after her being so sick . . . it is a thrill to take her outside and watch her enjoy being in the snow.

Yesterday, she insisted on going out during near whiteout conditions and I thought - what the heck. We will stay on our path. She was entranced! I, however, about froze!!!!

Today, the sun is shining brightly and the whole world looks lit up in white. It will be treacherous tonight (and in the morning) with black ice.

I use a photo sharing account called TinyPic.com
