What a beautiful area! It's a pleasure to walk down a wide sidewalk like that and to see the lovely old homes. Gorgeous draping Wisteria doesn't hurt either.

CLARK - the neighborhood is gorgeous. That would be my dream - I have always wanted to have a B&B (researched it for many years!) and that location looks like what I dreamed of. What a wonderful life you have created!

Thank you. To be sure, I have had my share of disappointments and missed opportunities.

What I don't understand is how people could live in places they don't like, work at jobs they hate, stay married to people they no longer love. Don't understand it at all. Life is so short!

A favorite quote - from the movie Auntie Mame : "Life is a banquet but most poor suckers are starving to death!"

But can a fifteen year old girl walk down that street in perfect safety at 2 A.M.? Please don't say that's not possible anywhere. It's virtually guaranteed where I live.

You live in a great place, not Philadelphia. If you could just poison the liberals people of my sort might even live there.

Nah, better to stay on the wide open plains. You wouldn't like it here.
