Christmas stuff is off of the porch! Only needed a hoodie and gloves. Finally sunny.

DH was reading (scaring) about hip replacement. Not going there. He was feeling crappy last two days, he finally got off his butt and is up playing in the barn. Ironically, keeping moving is less pain that lazing about. Granted, the ice kept him in for three weeks but I am so happy he's up. Even if it's only for an hour.

I use my smartphone to snap a pic of the lane number and/or my car. I put a rubber band around the phone when leaving home, so I don't forget to take the pic.

These parking lots you speak of must be like the size of ten football fields. I've never not known where my rig was, but we're talking small city of 30,000.

What if you forget to put a rubber band around the phone?

I am very very surprised that the dogs didn't remind you That Our Dinner Is Missing! Where Is Our Dinner? Where Is Our Dinner???

Are the dogs Seniors too?

I'm surprised too, although labs are notorious for claiming that they are starving even while they are burping after just having finished a meal. Seniors, yes, Zack, the 80 lb. black lab will be 14 in August and Calypso, the 45 lb chocolate lab just turned 10 last week. I did have one dog who in the last 6 months of his life had rather severe dementia, got "lost" if he wandered in to the corner of the room and got stuck, etc but I don't think that even he forgot about eating.

This afternoon I put in application to adopt another senior black lab from a lab rescue group in NC. He's only 7, a veritable pup who would hopefully be with me for a number of years.

ps: I did remember to feed the dogs this evening.

Good idea! I just have to remember to glance up and check the lane number. I usually do but once in a while...
