That is where I tripped getting out of the shower in my new house, broke my toe, lunged forward and hit my head on the marble countertop and knocked myself out for a couple seconds. Bathrooms are very dangerous especially with all that water and electricity so close to each other !
I'm sure glad I read these posts AFTER I took my shower! They gave me the heebeejeebies!! lol

Speaking of showering, there is a current thread in the Fashion and Beauty Forum entitled "How bad is your body odor?" There is even a poll. There is no limit to the bizarre thread topics we can encounter on City-Data!

You should see some of the things the mods delete before anyone ever sees them. I can think of one picture...........

For the past few days I was visiting out in the other end of the state, where I came from originally. It was so much warmer there, the trees were in bloom, but the allergies! I'm glad to be back, freezing here by the sea. Wonder if it will snow.

I always heard a skunk doesn't smell it's own odor - so - how would each person really know how bad they smell?

Well, I don't have an answer for you. I just happened to see the thread title and read a little bit of it.

I didn't expect an answer - just a little sarcasm on my part.

An update on my Molly-dog: Old Molly passed her 'Senior Profile' with flying colors, to the astonishment of all, including the vet. He's probably disappointed, that he can't 'upsell', as Cccgirl would say, by treating her for some more expensive condition. We are giving it another go with some meds for incontinence, but I am having a devil of a time giving them to her. This has never been much of a problem in the past. One large pill is a chewable, but she disagrees. She is disdaining the cheese slices even without my using them as foils for the pill. Same with peanut butter. And don't you know that the only pb I had on hand is the super expensive, healthy stuff. What finally worked was roasted chicken skin. Now if I could only get my hands on
a large supply of chicken skin!

neg, are you off to Italy?

Umbria and Foglover, Not till the spring of '15. We've got the final renovations. Sisters and I want to rent an apt in Rome. The three of us in Italy—as my son says, Italy beware!
