Wow! Very nice

Thanks for posting those links. We had two deaths in Iowa over the weekend due to high winds.

My prayers and thoughts to all those affected.

Amen Rigi.

Clark, you have exquisite taste. Unfortunately, DH got to choose the living room color and it's 1980's peach. Yeeeeeuck. Maybe in the south but not here. No matter, it's my office and we never entertain. Well, we do but usually it's beers in the barn/workshop.

Well, it's officially wind and fire season in SoCal.

Sure wouldn't have wanted to be that truck driver!
And very glad my nephew moved out of that housing development.

(These 2 incidents are about 5 miles apart)

Guess I can go out and get the paper now. It was still dark when delivered and I chickened out since a bear busted through a lanai up the street yesterday AM in order to steal bag of bird food and today is also garbage pickup morning so, for sure, some have their bins out already.

yikes, never had a bear that close, but have heard many stories.

Quite the rain here last night, the creek is swollen and roaring. I was looking at he damage in Pensacola, man o man the roads are trashed. Thankfully my aunt only got a little water in the garage.

There is an I Love Pensacola facebook page for donations. To see the damage look for WEAR TV 3 on faceboook, the followers have posted tons of photos. Then, to add insult to injury, there was a natural gas explosion at the local jail, killing two and injuring a hundred.

I almost created a new thread on this, but realized it's not just about retirees. So I'll post it here and invite discussion. According to Gallup , seems like a lot of folks want to leave their state. Take a look a the map.
