To digress a wee bit, does anyone else miss the lost art of diagramming sentences?
I loved that. When I was a boy I made up long and complicated sentences, then diagrammed them for fun. There's a diagramming method in introductory lingistics courses and syntax courses. It's a better method of illustrating relationships, but it's just not as much fun.

Yes, that was fun. I am a visual type person so being able to actually see the parts of the sentence made sense to me. I loved diagramming sentences. If I can see it I can usually understand it. Too bad if kids aren't learning that in school today because the kids who learn visually are missing out.
hahaha, I"m Myrtle too! I thought I'd get a better name because I chose lipstick as what I'd bring with me for a night of partying. Maybe lipstick is for old ladies?

Well I can say for sure I'm not going to spend the limited time I have left diagramming sentences, lol. And with all the texting these days, I'm sure most youth don't even know what a sentence is. It's going the way of the dinosaur.
Where is the what is your young person name game............
