Who was ''her''?

Here it is. I've never used Google. I started using Dogile about fifteen years ago after an academic librarian told me about it. In this case, however, I just searched wikipedia.

I wish I had known about your passion, I would have sent you all of my crystas, gave 'em away due to the upcoming move.

Fascinating about the birthstones, Clark. Thank you.

Off to Google the tribes of Israel......... when DH and I were dating and I told her he wa Irish she blurted out, 'It's said that the Irish were one of the lost tribes of Israel.' Cracked me up!

Oh man, wish you had known about it, too. I would gladly have paid the postage for such a generous gift!!!!

On the way there my granddaughter said, from the back seat: "Grandma, you know when you pick we up at school tomorrow? You may not want to kiss me because we have snacks right before and I might be salty."
Ah, a diplomat in the making. I won't embarrass her in front of her school mates. I thanked her for being thoughtful.
That was the nicest idea - taking her to a play! I am so glad you enjoyed it.

Yes, a diplomat. Growing up so fast, too!

You are making precious memories that she will cherish forever.

Thank you, I think so too. Quality time is great, but I think lots of quantity is needed to get those memorable gems sometimes.

Default Thread titles that make us laugh department:

This one just caught my eye: A current thread in the Mental Health sub-forum of the Health Forum is entitled, "I think I might be an a-hole". At least the guy (or gal) has plenty of company on City-Data.

If you think you might be one, the chances are good you are one.

Don't they say that about people who think they might be alcoholics?

Default OMG! Here's an even funnier one:

Right now near the bottom of page one in the Current Events Forum: "Idaho: Car crash caused by armpit hair fire". Apparently some 16-year-old lit the driver's armpit hair on fire while he was driving. That takes real brains, eh?

Escort, knowing how educated you are and what large and important ideas you must have brought out in the classroom, I have a really tough time envisioning you looking into such ridiculous threads. THAT makes me laugh. LOL. (Just poking fun.)
