Whew! After shoveling the back stairs a half hour ago they are covered in an inch of snow already; it's coming down fast!

Ok. If you hear somebody banging on your door, it's the storm tossed New Englanders fleeing from the violent weather. Today I woke up and looked out the window and can't see a thing. Snow is plastered all over the windows and doors. It's as if someone painted everything white. I can't open the doors but I can hear the wind roaring. Maybe there's a monster outside, a roaring monster.

OK! lol I've lived in stuff like that so I know what you're saying. In No. Idaho we got at least 8' a year from Thanksgiving...if we were lucky...to May. We once had a heavy wet snow in June! I had just got my garden in and thought I'd lose it all. I lost one tomato and one bell pepper plant! We had a metal roof so when it snowed heavy the heat from the house kept it mostly clear but it sure piled up on the deck and behind the house. I don't recall heavy winds but it's been a long time. At least we didn't have to worry about losing power. We didn't have any. lol
