Not to worry. See my post #6608 above. Hellmann's has been made continuously since 1905. It's not going anywhere anytime soon. Best Foods is Hellmann's under a different name - same company - same formula - same taste. Thanks to Uncle Sam I went from coast to coast from age five to age 32 so went from Best Foods to Hellmann's, and visa versa, at least six or seven times. No difference.

^^^ Well, then that old rule doesn't hold up. I wonder where the dividing line between Hellmann's and Best Foods really lies??

Curm, honestly, it tastes the same IMO but the olive oil is a bit of a ripoff. It has some olive oil, but is not exclusively olive oil Grrrrrr. But anytime I can eat less canola oil I'm going to, canola is waaay bad for you.

I tried the Best Olive Oil mayo and thought it was absolutely nasty.
Took it back to the store on the next trip and got a refund.

Different taste buds

I think they only use partial olive oil to retain that Hellmann's original taste.

Sorry to rain on anyone's mayo parade, but Hellman's has genetically modified (GMO) ingredients and eggs from chickens not all that healthy. If you can find it, get organic non-GMO mayo (Trader Joe's has a good one).
