And~~~may you be forced to wear Depends at 45. We're all dinosaurs.

Speaking of Depends...I was in CVS the other day checking out sales on newborn disposable diapers when I happened upon the display of Depends. I wonder what the difference is. It crossed my mind to start stocking up on Depends (for the future), but then it occurred to me that when the kids get potty trained I'll ask for their overstock of diapers. The only time I would need them now is when my sister and I start laughing so hard we lose it. And they say laughter is the best medicine!

Wouldn't there be a distinct size differentiation - between the behind of an infant and one of an adult woman?

Just wondering

Yes, Depends are huge compared to baby diapers.

Some women I know deal with occasional incontinence (as in - when they might laugh and have a little "accident") by wearing panty liners. They can be quickly changed, are easy to carry around and reasonably priced.

Diapers, for adults or babies/toddlers can cause all sorts of problems, including yeast or fungus infections, "diaper rash," chafing, etc. The "bulk" of diapers is only one aspect of the drawbacks of having to deal with adult diapers . . . disposal, transporting them when out and about, skin conditions . . . diapers are a last resort.

Many of us will shrink back there as we age. Maybe tape two together?

With the strong possibility of big snow on Wednesday I guess I have to come out of retirement, put down the good book I'm in the midst of and do some housework and storm/power outage prep.

Bah, hum-bug.

Saturday, we saw beautiful snow flakes that lasted several hours and covered the ground -- and then it all disappeared!

It was quite lovely while it lasted - and no ice to deal with later.

Of course, the ground is supersaturated, making it nasty to take the dog out for walkies, but that is why we have boots!

Hope everyone is safe and warm and enjoying the weekend.
